Twins WIN!!

Yes the Twins win. I can tell you that this is the year we return to the world series. It is unbelievable how well the season has gone considering all that has happened. Orlando Hudson and JJ Hardy have spent two times a piece on the disabled list, Justin Morneau has been out since July, our bench is a never ending circle of players, and the rotation has had its share of soreness. The year has been phenomenal. Jim Thome is the MVP of this years team,  he brought his humbleness and big stick to Minnesota and let me tell you, I'm very thankful for that. In the first year of Target Field, the year has been memorable. Most of the players have had great success at home. Mid-season call up Danny Valencia has made his mark which I'm glad to see because it has been a long time since Minnesota has had a steady third baseman since Corey Koskie left. Valencia has been a large contributor and I hope he can continue to provide the strength on the field. It's amazing that I've gotten this far down and haven't even said Joe Mauer's name. What more can you say about the guy? He is truly a once in a lifetime player. And its awesome that he is homegrown talent. I think a lot of the success of this season can be credited to Carl Pavano's mustache. It is the perfect stache. So as the Twins storm into the postseason, let them continue the success of the year and win one for Minnesota and Target Field.
